» Welcome to Pack 315

   We are entering our 49th year of Cub Scouting and are sponsored by American Legion Post # 392 in Peotone, IL. We have an active program of age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities and meetings. We serve Cub Scout-age boys from all of the elementary schools in our area. 
   The pack meets one Thursday evening of each month (usually the third) at Peotone Elementary School. At each monthly meeting we recognize the work and achievement of our Cubs as they progress through the many achievement and elective requirements in the program. 
   Pack 315 is a family friendly cub pack. We encourage families to attend the pack meetings together and to participate in many of our activities as a family. Cub Scouting provides wonderful opportunities for cubs and their families to share experiences, work together, and have fun. 
   Please join us on a great adventure called "Scouting."

Pack 315 would like to thank all of the Scouts who rang bells for the Salvation Army in December. 

SCOUT SUNDAY February 7, 2010

Email Sandy0066@aol.com if you would like a Scout Sunday Patch.  Scouts who attend ANY church IN UNIFORM are eligible.  St. Paul and Immanual Churches in Peotone have invited scouts to participate in services. 
St Paul:  Arrive 10:15 for instruction & to line up for 10:30 service
Immanual:  Arrive 9:45 for instruction and to line up for 10am service

 

January 2010:
14        Roundtable Meeting*  7:00 at Grace Lutheran,(McCarthy) (D)
18        Committee/Leader Meeting** 8:15 at Peotone American Legion 
21        Pack Meeting - 7pm at PES - PWD Car Check-in & Tug-O-War
23        PWD Set up 2-4pm
24        Boy Scout Klondike Derby (Webelos Invited)(D)
24        Pinewood Derby @ PJHS- 12-6pm
30        Cub Scout Winter Event(D)

    If you are interested in joining our Cub Scout Pack, please contact Melissa Paukstis (click on contacts tab). Peotone Pack 315 Welcomes boys aged 6 through 10 and their families without regard to race, culture, religion, ethnic background, and family status. We believe all boys should have the opportunity to participate in the Cub Scouting adventure. If registration fee, uniform, or work books pose a financial burden -- contact the Cub Master or Committee Chairperson in confidence.

    Interested in Volunteering?
    Active, committed Leaders and parents are the heart and soul of a successful Cub Pack. You don't need to have any special abilities to make a huge difference in a young man's life. Volunteer as a den leader or assistant. Training is available. You can also volunteer to help at one of our many events; you'll be glad you did! Adult Volunteers are still needed for most of our events.  If you are interested in chairing, or helping out at any Pack events, please contact webmaster Sandy (click on contacts tab above).
